A total of three victories, two draws and 12 goals were recorded during the 16th day of play in the Cameroon Professional league staged last Thursday May 21, 2015 across the national territory.

With one match remaining to the end of the first round of the league, some big guns in the country domestic league recorded some significant results.

Astres FC of Douala made a fool of Canon FC of Yaounde in Douala crushing them 5-2. After four matches without defeat, Canon hoped to continue in the spot light when they opened scores after a few minutes into the game. Things turn soar when they failed to meet up with the challenges of the day.

In Bamenda, Unisport of Haut-Nkam had a slippery victory over Yong Sport Academy before their home crown.

Unisport 1-0 win was too expensive as the Bamenda boys remain tongue tight at the end of the match; a defeat that takes them down to the 7th position in the classification table with 25 points.

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda and Botafogo of Douala also won on the road at the expense of respectively Fovu club of Baham and Comos of Mbam.

Coton sport of Garoua tops the table with 33 points followed by Botafogo Fc and Panthere FC with 26 and 25 points respectively. Tonnere FC of Yaounde tailed the league with 11 pionts.
