The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have maintained their April position in the FIFA ranking released Thursday May 7, 2015.

Cameroon is ranked 48th in the world ranking and 9th in the African continent. According to the ranking, only three friendly matches were taken into consideration and since Cameroon was not involved in any match, their position has not change.

From the 48th position occupied by Cameroon to position 52nd occupied by Turkey, the ranking is separated only by 25 points.

Algeria continues to top the African ranking while occupying the 21st in the world. African champion, Ivory Coast occupies the 2nd position in Africa and 23rd in the world. Ghana comes third.

The first three positions in the world remain unchanged occupied by Germany, Argentina and Belgium respectively.

A total of 220 international “A” matches have been evaluated so far this year with the next FIFA Coca-Cola World Ranking program to be published on June 4, 2015.
