Cameroon midfielder Stephane Mbia runs the risk of missing out on the African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea being withdrawn 21 minutes into the match against RC Celta as a result of a sore hamstring.

The Sevilla midfielder is set to undergo medical tests to determine the extent of the injury today Monday.
In the case where the Mbia cannot participate in the AFCON, Finke might turn his attention to the once rejected Alex Song of West Ham who was a surprised omission from the 24-man list.

Stephane Mbia is in fact one of the 24 players selected by Volker Finke, the national coach for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) scheduled from January 17 to February 8, 2015, in Equatorial Guinea.

Fingers are crossed, expecting that there is nothing serious.
