Former Unisport of Bafang coach, Alexandre Belinga has been appointed as head coach of Douala-based club Astres fc on a three year contract.

He was installed on Wednesday in Douala by the Club’s President General Dieudonné Kamdem who called on him to restore order at the club.

The former Impots fc coach replaces Justin Kamgué who was sacked after just spending over four months at the helm of the team; a period which he failed to produce results as Astres, for a second year running were eliminated at the preliminary round of the Orange Caf Champions League.

“I want results from you, no matter the team you are playing against,” the Club’s President told Belinga as he was being installed.

The new man faces his first challenge in his first game in charge as they face local rivals Union Sportive of Douala on Sunday in one of the match day ten encounters of the Cameroon Professional League.
