Fabrice Ondoua: The Barcelona keeper thwarted the Congolese strikers and earns a clean shirt. Although at the beginning of the game he showed some signs of fear, he however picked up a made a number of saves.

Nicolas Nkoulou : Read the game excellently, stepping in with timely interceptions more than once.But was lost at times by the Congolese strikers. However, he brought in his experience to frustrate the Congolese attacking plan.

Stephane Mbia: The new captain showed some spirit of combativeness that made many Cameroonians to remember the old days of Rigobert Song. Also, his zeal to lead the squad courageously was a motivation to the young players in the squad.

Jerome Guihota: The FC Valencienes defender in the first half of the game was unstable. Failed to support the attack, however, he did not neglect his defensive duties.

Oyongo Bitolo: The lateral defender plying his trade with of Red Bulls FC in USA faced so many difficulties as the Congolese side’s game plan was to exploit his boulevard. Just like Guihota, he failed to support the attack.

Georges Mandjeck : On his return to the Cameroonl XI, the midfielder gave a good display of his credentials in partnering with Eyong. He was however lacking in producing some numerical advantage to the attack line.

Enoh Eyong : The Standard Liege new signing was completely lost in the game, despite giving the role to move freely defensively in order to field in the lose holes at the defense.

Choupou Moting: He was definitely more involved in the buildup to the lions attack.The Shackle 04 striker started the game timidly but later picked up at the second segment.

Clinton Njie: Njie was one of the few players making their debut for the lions. He was able to put his pace, agility and zeal for goal in the game. After a number of misses, the Buea born striker was able to find the back of the net at the 45th minute of play.

Benjamin Moukanjo: A mixed game for the Reims man who tried to make things happen but accuracy on the final pass or shot sometimes eluded him. He was later on substituted after an injury.

Vincent Aboubakar : After being caged by the Congolese defense, the FC Porto striker was able to broke out at the 85th minute to shatter the dreams of equalizing which the Congolese side nursed.
