Disappointed by the dismal performance of his squad, Indomitable Lions Coach Volker Finke has said all is not yet lost after the 1-0 defeat suffered in the opener against Mexico.

Unable to digest the inability of the players to attack against Brazil, Finke wants to forget in a hurry this poor start at Cameroon’s 7th participation.

“We have to prepare for the next match, all is not lost’ he said during the press conference after the match.

“The conditions are the same for both teams so we can’t complain about the weather.

“The pitch itself wasn’t too bad. It’s a pity we didn’t win but both teams had balanced chances.

“We have five days to recover. We will analyse this together because the match against Croatia is very important if we want to stay alive.”

The Lions now have their back to the wall and should fight to defeat Croatia who also lost to Brazil.
