The striker from Kaiserslautern, Idrissou Mohamadou has denied Cameroon the opportunity to draw against Paraguay 2-2.
A late penalty from a fault on Benjamin Moukandjo was squandered as Idrissou sent in the ball which was deflated by the Paraguay goalkeeper Fernandez.
Many analysts maintained idrissou has signed his death warrant and he should be in bad shape after such a blunder, but coach has the finals say.
The lions started the game poorly with a early goal from Oscar Romero at the 4th minute resulting for a slack in the defense and from the right flank.
Playing with no direction in the first half the lions were dominated as Paraguay lost many scoring chances.
But, on return from break, the lions tried to put the coaches remarks into practice and showed a better performance though Paraguay increased tally at the 68th minute through Roques Santa Cruz.
However, Chopou Moting took advantage of a mix-up at the Paraguay defense to reduce tally for Cameroon. But,the hopes of snatching a draw were dashed when Idrissou lost the penalty.
The game just showed that the right flank which has been problematic for some time did not work well as opposed to the last game in which Djeugoue Cedric made an attempt to keep the flank steady. Also the central defense with Matip and Nkoulou did not work well.
Finke surely has lots of issues to fix before the next warm up game against the German national team, the Nationalmannschaft.
