Some 30 Cameroon elite coaches are undergoing training on modern coaching method in Yaounde.
Organised by the Cameroon Football Federation, Fecafoot, Fifa instructor, Frans Masson is in charge of the five-day training.
For Masson, focus on modern football should be to weave a philosophy of the most offensive and organised game.
“The essential things is to have a vision on which to build the training” he said. The principle is to be able to transmit the vision into practice in the field and develop automation.
He emphasized the need to study the opponent, know their game plan and details on how they manage dead-balls.
Football is changing and for Masson emphassis is shifting from endurance to speed and individualistic training.
