Barcelona have made Alex Song available for transfer – if interested parties cough up £12m.

Manchester United have been linked with a surprise move for the midfielder, who left Arsenal to join the Nou Camp giants in 2012.

Song, though, has failed to win over the Barcelona fans and it is understood that the 26-year-old will be allowed to leave in the summer.

Barca are set for a period of upheaval, with coach Tata Martino’s future also uncertain, while Song appears set for the exit door.

United remain an interest – although it has cooled in recent weeks – while Napoli are also in the running.

And Rafael Benitez will be able to sign the Cameroon international if he agrees to meet Barcelona’s asking price.

  1. I go talk am says:

Song should leave that place if he really wants to grow as a footballer. He is simply wasting his talents on the bench at Barca instead of playing full 90 minutes in teams that need him
