Lions4life followed some Cameroonians plying their trade in Europe who are likely to be representing the Indomitable Lions in Brazil this summer.

France

In France Cameroonian young striker, Aboubakar Vincent’s Lorient lost to French league One champs PSG last Sunday. The Cameroonian who is the club’s leading scorer found it difficult to find the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Bekamenga of Stade Laval, who is the current French Ligue 2 highest scorer, netted one home to secure a 1-1 draw. Frédéric Bong gave his side, Niort a 2-1 victory over Angers. Cameroonian Henri Ndong and Franco – Cameroonian Axel Ngando both contributed enormously for Auxerre’s   2-0 win over Creteil.

On his part, Benjamin Moukandjo’s Nancy lost to Clermont of Claude Eugène Ekobo. Edgar Salli playing with RC Lens pulled a 3-3 tie with the Cameroonian scoring one goal and one assisted.

Nicolas Nkoulou’s Marseille lost at home to Jean II Makoun and Jean -Armel Kana Biyik’s Rennes 0-1.This was the fourth without a win for Marseille.

Meanwhile, in the absence of Henry Bedimo due to injury, his side Lyon beat Guingamp of Guy – Roland Ndy Assembé  1-0.

England

Meanwhile in the United Kingdom, Chelsea mask man Samuel Eto’o scores for his side ant the 4th minute before been substituted as a result of injury at the 9th minute. His side ended up humiliating Arsenal 6-0.

 Norwich captain Sebastian Bassong led his side to a 2-0 thrashing of Sunderland. While in Scotland, 23-year-old Ross County defender, Yann Songo’o was able to score the lone goal at the 80th minute after they were been led 0-2 by Motherwell. This was his third goal for the season. He is used as a central defender and also as a lateral defender.

Germany

In the Bundesliga, it was a sad day for Eric Choupo -Moting and Jacques Zoua whose clubs were beaten by Bayern Munich and Stuttgart respectively.

Meanwhile, Joel Matip was the only Cameroonian in the Bundesliga to enjoy victory this week-end has his side; Schalke 04 thrashed Eintracht Braunschweig 3-1.
