The President of the Normalization Committee, Joseph Owona has refused to execute the decision of the Conciliation and Arbitration Chamber of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee, CNOSC.
CNOSC ruled that the federation should reinstate certain clubs in the Littoral football league, prior the launch of the league season.
Going by Owona, the Arbitrary and Conciliatory Chamber of the CNOSC did not respect the principles of CAF and Fifa.
The members of the Homologation and Disciplinary Committee, the Appeal Committee, and Fecafoot Secretary General among others in a meeting with Owona backed the decision not to execute the decision.
They upheld position of the President of the Normalization Committee not to execute the decision of CNOSC as being in line Fifa and Fecafoot regulations.
in Article IV the regulation stipulates that Fecafoot and its members respect the statutes, regulations, directives and decisions of Fifa, CAF and Fecafoot.
One of the members of the Normalisation Committee from the Littoral region, prince Ngassa Happi dissociated himself from this decision and wrote to the governor indicating that the littoral league championship should not kick-off without the said clubs.
One of the clubs is headed by former footballer, Eugene Ekeke.
This had deepened the division already perceptible in the Normalization Committee, at a time when Fifa is in Cameroon to evaluate the work done.
