A Confederation of African Football, CAF Inspection Committee is expected in Cameroon in May in line with Cameroon’s bid to host the 2019 African Nations Cup.
CAF during its executive committee meeting approved a five-member committee of experts to inspect the six candidates for the 2019 and/or 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The members are Amadou Diakite (Mali) – CAF Executive Committee member, Adoum Djibrine (Chad) – CAF Executive Committee member, Walter Gagg (Switzerland) – FIFA expert, Paul Bassey (Nigeria) – CAF expert and Amr Fahmy (CAF) – Tournament Director of Africa Cup of Nations.
The group of experts is expected in Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea in April, Algeria and Cameroon in May, DR Congo and Zambia in July 2014.
The host for the 2019 and 2012 Africa Cup of Nations would be conducted during the CAF Executive Committee in September 2014.
