Two Cameroonian clubs, the mythic Canon of Yaounde and Cotonsport of Garoua are currently attending a Caf seminar in South Africa.
They have have been among the 37 clubs selected to attend a CAF seminar in South Africa today, January 30-31 on the difficulties and problems faced by clubs.
Eight workshops are held around the following themes. Inter-club competition, licenses and the role of CAF, federations, leagues and clubs.
Also, professional development of clubs management and finances, infrastructure development, club stadia, licenses for other confederations, UEFA, AFC, judicial aspects-the club and status of players.
Besides youth policy, TV rights, transmission, marketing and club sponsorship are on the menu.
CAF President Issa Hayatou would preside at the seminar to be attended by Danny Jordan and CAF executive committee members.
The seminar is holding on the eve of the CHAN finals pitting Ghana against Libya in South Africa.
