Going by reports and comments from the Cameroon football icon, Roger Milla, Owona said the coach would not be changed.
“We are going to continue with Volker Finke who helped the team to qualify for the World Cup in style”.
He described Finke as one of the top ten coaches in Fribourg in the past ten years.
Owona however urged Volker Finke to produce a good team for the 2014 World Cup.
Cameroon is lodged in Group A with host Brazil, Croatia and Mexico.
“We need to have two good goalkeepers, a good left flank and midfield; the team has been playing a more defensive game, we also want an offensive midfield”.
