Guillermo Tofoni, Argentina match agent has denied Argentina would meet Cameroon in a friendly before the World Cup.
This reaction comes after Fifa posted the Cameroon-Argentina friendly on its calendar and following reports in the Cameroon media announcing the game.
Tofoni who owns the World Eleven Agency and is in charge of negotiating and organizing friendlies for Albiceleste says his country would not meet Cameroon before the World Cup.
He instead confirmed the last game for Argentina against Slovenia at River and Plate stadium Buenos Aires on June 7.
Many keep on wondering what happened and could some persons announced a match that had not been negotiated?
Also, there is confusion as to why Fifa decided to add a match to his calendar without prior confirmation from the federations.
Meanwhile, negotiations are underway for a friendlies against Nigeria and Gabon besides friendly against Germany and Portugal already concluded for World Cup warm ups.
