The Indomitable Lions, lions4life.com has learnt, would set their camp in Vitoria in the South-east of Brazil.
It is from this camp in the State of Espirito Santo that the team would travel to the different stadiums to play the first round World Cup games.
The Lions would be lodged at the five star Sheraton Vitoria Hotel, with a view of splendid beaches, shops and restaurants in a busy area of Vitoria.
Vitoria has a population of 314042 people following the 2007 figures with lowest temperature in June pegged at 19,5c and high at 26.7c.
The Lions would travel 1685km to Natal for their first game against Mexico, 2: 13’ by flight, 4469km for the second game to Manaus 3:34’ by flight and 943km, 1:15’ by flight.
It is hoped that at the press conference on Thursday, the authorities would explain why they settled for a camp where the players would get tired from long journeys.
