The two-day tournament, dubbed “Festi-Foot Stephane Mbia” ended with Calcio Ecole des Postes lifting the trophy of the maiden edition of Festi Foot Stephane Mbia.

Calcio edged out Revolution of Biyem Assi 4-2 on penalty shoot-outs after a 1-1 draw in the junior-senior category.
Celebrating Victory

Jean Landry Bassilekin stood out as best player and man-of-the-match in the junior-senior category and like some of the winners in the different categories bagged home a trophy and cash prize.

“It is always interesting to win a title and we have entered history as the winners of the Maiden edition of Festi-Foot Stephane Mbia”, he said.

On the occasion, the player of Nancy (League 2)said he decided to accompany Mbia in the initiative because they know each other and have played together in the past.

He won the football fiesta with the club of his quarter, Ecole des Postes in which he played before going to France.
