Cameroon proceeds to the semi-final of the ongoing CEMAC Cup thanks to Gabon. The Gabonese beat the Equator-Guineans 2-1 to qualify and Cameroon second in the group, also qualifies for the semi-final.
The first half ended in a 1-1 tie, but, thanks to his second goal, Daniel Cousin secured a place for the Gabonese team in front of their President, Obiang Nguema Mbazogo who watched the game and the fans that turned out in their numbers to support their team.Thierry Fidjeu scored the lone goal for his side.

Moving to Bitam on Tuesday, the Lions would play their semi-final game against the winner of the Congo-Central Africa group B game.
Cameroon suffered a 2-0 defeat against Gabon in the opening game and had to beat Equatorial Guinea 2-1 to remain in the competition.
Though the Central African team following the political upheavals in their country arrived late, they beat the Chadian team 1-0.
