Cameroon reduces qualification chances for the African Amateur Championship following a 1-0 defeat from DR Congo today at the Roumde Adjia Stadium.

The lone goal of the encounter was scored at the 70th minute through Mubele Ndombe of Vita Club in the DR Congo after the team dominated the encounter.

The Amateur Lions would have to score two goals without conceding any to dream of qualifying for CHAN 2014 in South Africa.

In the situation of a 1-0 goal in the return leg, the two teams would have to go through penalty kicks 50 per cent chances of qualifying.

Cameroon has however complained that the Congolese players had no licenses.
