Lion’s midfielder, Ehoh Eyong who plays for Fulham, has expressed the determination of the indomitable Lions to win the match against the DR Congo.
“We would spill blood to win that game”, he told the press.
He appreciated the push from the press for the players to put their best.
“Enoh I know you can give in much more, Alex and Nkoulou you can do better”.
Eyong said the players have got the message adding the team is determined to do the impossible to win the game.
Returning from a one year injury, Eyong is happy to be back in the national team.
“I was injured for one year and I am working hard to get to my best level”, he said.
He maintained that he is ever ready whenever he is called in two years, six months to the national team, he answers present, though this is not his objective.
“My objective is to be the best at the club, if I am not good for the club then I am not good for the national team. The national team is just a continuation”.
He said a lot of things happened in Lome, but the most important thing is for the team to be tactically trained and focus on the positive side of the game.
“We are going to give 100 per cent of ourselves, we are very conscious of the stakes” he concluded.
