Cameroon coach Jean Paul Akono has embarrassed football authorities with the publication of his list of 25 players for the friendly against Ukraine and the World Cup qualifier matches in June.

The list making its rounds online has not yet been published on the federations website.

Making his comeback is Cameroon midfielder Enoh Eyong and also Paul Alo’o Efoulou.

The new comers into the group are Raoul Loe, Osasuna Spain and goalkeeper, Sammy Ndjock, Antalyaspor Turkey.

There are eight local players in the list.

Though called for the game against Ukraine, Samuel Eto’o Fils is playing the finals of the Russian Cup with his club Anzhi Makhachkala on June 1 and many think the possibility of playing on June 2 is slim.

Cameroon is leading group I with six points ahead of Libya, DR Congo and Togo.

The federation’s communication department was surprise hear Akono has made known his list.

He told lions4life that he is the source of the list though he says he would not comment on the list.

Though Akono says is in his right and timing to publish the list, the Federation is of the opinion that the procedure is not correct.

The federation says it is their right to publish the list for administrative reasons. There is also the opinion that with the imminent appointment of a new coach, the publication of a list was not called for.

However, the Team Press officer confirmed the list was deposited at the federation.
