Cameroon striker, Samuel Eto’o Fils, has said it is complicated to work under pressure.

Eto’o spoke to the press after indomitable lions defeated Cape Verde 2-1, but could not qualify for the African Nations Cup.

He said “the lessons learnt from the match and the situation of Cameroon football, are that it is complicated to work under pressure”.

“The actors, journalists and especially us players, have to take time to organize football given that the lions have talents”.

The four times African Player of the Year said now is the time to prepare for the upcoming World Cup game in March.

He proposed that the lions should play during all the Fifa dates and not waiting for an encounter to wake up.

Cameroon has failed on a number of occasions to respect a Fifa dates and this has played in the ranking of the team.

“If we cannot take advantage of the Fifa dates, then there is a problem.

“There is also need to work cohesion in the team and not work under pressure”.

“Working under pressure, there are many things we cannot achieve”.

Samuel Eto’o who has 153 goals to his credit maintained that their role as players is to play, for the group to gain experience, this is the only way to ameliorate.

Samuel Eto’o said their focus was to score two goals during the duel with Cape Verde and regretted the early goal of the match that demoralized the group.

“We came to this match with a handicap and this is what has eliminated us from the African Nations Cup”.

“I and the coach were called like fire brigade to save a situation; we need to tell the truth, we are living a complicated situation”.

He suggested that Cameroonians sit to look at what is wrong and ameliorate.
