The Indomitable Lions trained today at the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium under the watchful eyes of fans who had long deserted the team.
Following this first day of training, there seemed to be an atmosphere of conviviality in the Lions den and entente among the players.
All the players of called up by Coach Jean Paul Akono were all present except Henri Bedimo of Montpellier who has been declared forfeit.
Samuel Eto’o Fils, who refused to show up during the first leg game against Cape Verde was present and as usual attracted a large crowd of fans to the stadium.
Samuel Eto’o Fils could be seen chatting heartily and laughing with the Team Manager, Rigobert Song and many football lovers are tempted to say the atmosphere in the team is good.
The players also had a session with the psychologist after the afternoon training session.
“If we do not believe in our chances of winning, then we would not have come to play this match”, the players are unanimous.
Two training sessions are equally planned for tomorrow morning and afternoon.
