The Indomitable Lions started training in Dakar Senegal today following their arrival in camp last evening.

 

The Lions take on Cape Verde on Saturday for the third round qualifiers of the African Nations Cup.

 

Fifteen of the players who have not had an active season trained this morning.

 

Present were, Emana, Kameni, Aboubakar, Zoua, Choupo, Oumarou, Kweuke, Overtoom, Bedimo, Ndy Assembe, Mbia and Moukandjo.

 

 

Meanwhile those who played on Sunday took a rest and checked their health with the medical staff.

 

These were Song, Ndjeng, Nyom, Nounkeu, Ngeumo, Chedjou, Nkoulou, Oyongo and Fedjou.

 

This evening the Lions will participate in a ceremony in solidarity with the Senegal flood victims.

 

During the ceremony, Jerseys autographed by the Teranga and Indomitable Lions would be sold and the proceeds sent to the Interior Minister for the victims.

 

The Teranga Lions are lodged in Hotel Pullman with the Indomitable Lions and are preparing their match against Ivory Coast.

 

The Lions have two training sessions tomorrow and leave for Cape Verde on Thursday morning.
