Eding FC of Yaounde, Stade Renard of Melong and UMS of Loum have maintained their positions in the general classification table of the Cameroon professional league championship after matches of the 13th day disputed last weekend.
Despite registering a regional 1-1 tie against Apejes of Mfou in Yaounde, Eding FC continue to top the league table with 26 points. Eding FC opened the death lock at the 35th minutes but Apejes mounted pressure and balance the score at the 75th minutes.
Stade Renard FC, second on the classification table with 24 points suffered a 2-3 defeat in the hands of Astres FC while UMS of loum who are third also suffered heavily, 1-4 in Garoua against Coton Sport FC.
Coton Sport’s victory puts them at the fifth position with 19 points, 4 less than their opponent Loum third with 23 points. Yong Sport Academy FC of Bamenda after their 1-0 win over Bamboutos FC of Mbouda moved them up to the 8th position with 19 points.
A total of 23 goals were scored during the 13th day, including 10 in two games in Yaounde.
Racing FC, New Stars and Lion Blesse continue to tail the league with 13, 10 and 6 points respectively.
